It's important to understand that flight cancellation policies are primarily determined by the airlines, and Flying Apes facilitates these cancellations in accordance with airline rules. Different fare types, airlines, routes, and timing of cancellation can significantly impact the cancellation charges and refund amount.

Important Note:

This Cancellation Policy complies with the guidelines issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India and other applicable aviation regulations. In case of any discrepancy between this policy and the applicable regulations, the regulations will prevail.

How to Cancel a Booking

You can cancel your flight booking through the following methods:

Tip: We recommend cancelling your booking as soon as you know you cannot travel, even if it's a non-refundable ticket. This allows for possible refund of applicable taxes and ensures your no-show status doesn't affect future bookings with the airline.

Flying Apes Service Fee: In addition to the airline's cancellation charges, Flying Apes charges a service fee of ₹300 per passenger for processing domestic flight cancellations. This fee is waived for airline-initiated cancellations.

Flying Apes Service Fee: For international flight cancellations, Flying Apes charges a service fee of ₹500 per passenger. This fee is waived for airline-initiated cancellations.

Medical Emergencies

In case of medical emergencies, airlines may consider a full or partial waiver of cancellation charges with proper documentation:

  • Medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner
  • Hospital admission documents
  • Other relevant medical documentation

Death of Passenger or Family Member

In the unfortunate event of death of a passenger or immediate family member, airlines may offer special consideration for cancellation charges with appropriate documentation:
